About Country Manufacturing, Inc.
Country Manufacturing was started in 1978 by Joe Chattin for the purpose of producing a garden tractor size manure spreader for the equine market. As time progressed, other products for the horse and garden industries evolved. Today the company caters not only to the small gentleman farmers, but also large equine facilities and commercial businesses.

Our business is geographically located in Fredericktown, Ohio. This central Ohio location is a rural community with excellent work ethic and family values. Our small factory engineers and produces 85% of the goods that we sell. The Chattin family, Joe - founder, Gay - wife and advertising, Cami - daughter and sales and Chad - son, production and purchasing, all contribute to the manufacturing efforts. The remaining employees are all long-term loyal workers dedicated to producing tough and dependable products.

Steel Stall Doors & Grill Units
Build or convert your stalls into a professional show barn with easy to install, economical, and rugged grill and door panels. Each panel includes a 4 ft. long channel at the top and bottom welded to 34 inch long heavy gauge 5/8" square vertical bars on 4 inch centers.  The door frame is constructed identically and measures 4 ft. wide by 7 ft. high. Vertical side channels allow standard 2 inch lumber (1 1/2 inch thick) to be slid into place and bolted at the bottom. A top board cavity is available for supporting sliding door hangers.

Building or Remodeling?
Using the 4 ft. sections, any size horse stalls can be built (8ft, 10 ft, 12 ft). Also, odd sizes can easily be cut with a standard hacksaw. Example: a 12 ft. horse stall front would require 2 each 4 ft. sections and 1 each 4 x 7 door frame. Removable side stall walls can be made using our 7 ft. long wall channel designed to accept standard 2 inch lumber (1 1/2 inch thick). Great For Foaling Stalls too!

Hot Dipped Galvanized Stall Doors & Grill Units Economical and Corrosion Resistant. Hot-dip galvanizing and our NO-WELD construction insure long-lasting strength and durability! Very practical, rust inhibitive galvanized stalls provide years of maintenance free use. 4 ft. wide grills have 34" high x 1" round tubes inserted, on 4" centers, into channels top & bottom. Doorframe has same 4 ft. wide grill section, plus two 7 ft. high vertical side channels. Overall outside dimension of door is 51 in. x 7 ft. high and can be cut down to smaller width if desired.

Our Painted Steel Modular Stalls are designed so that the fronts can be reversed to allow the sliding door position to be left or right. Modular horse stalls are the easiest and fastest way to build stalls. Each prefabricated stall front or wall can be set into position, locked to each other using the brackets we provide and slide your lumber into the prefabricated channels. Modular stalls can be moved when needed and can be setup in a fraction of the time of building with a stall kit.  Note: Our Modular horse stalls DO NOT REQUIRE the use of support posts and can free stand!

What About Horse Stall Door Guards?
Horses love the ability to feel less "cooped up" and to be able to see what is going on in the barn and to look at and enjoy their friends.  Our Horse Stall Door Guards are versatile and functional. They can be used as the stall door or as an added barrier to the stall front, protecting the stall door if your horse has a habit of charging or pushing the door. All models are framed with heavy duty 3/16 x 1 1/2 hot rolled steel. Models CM 86 and CM 87 have sturdy 5/8" square steel tubing welded on 3" centers (2 3/8" opening allows for good ventilation).
