The Ursa Wagon is a Big Help Around the Barn and Horse Stable
The Ursa Wagon

I bet it’s happened to you.  You’re half way through your chore and you’re wondering why something has to take so long and why you seem to be working harder than you should.  Well it happened to me, and I was frustrated enough to do something about it.

I love to work outdoors and take pride in what I do.  There is a real satisfaction derived from doing it yourself and seeing the results of your efforts.  Even for the jobs that are seemingly endless, like mucking stalls or weeding gardens, straightening up for an admiring look is so rewarding.

Hey, even though I enjoy the work in progress, I don’t want to feel like I’m spinning my wheels or working harder than I should.  That’s the way I used to feel, especially on those bitter cold days when I was trying to get in as much firewood in as few trips as I could.  It seemed like a “decent” sized load would be nearly impossible to move, and no sooner would I get it loaded up than the cart would tip and I’d have to load it all up again!

Things really came to a head when my husband left town.  Not only did I have to do it all by myself, but there was no one to complain about it to! So that meant that I had to do something about it.  And I did!  I headed into the garage with frustration fueling the creative juices and created the first prototype of the Ursa Wagon.  When my husband saw my contraption, he embraced the idea and encouraged me to go forth.  He even had super ideas on ways to improve the concept.

Now, years of design, trial, testing, and refining later, we come before you with the ideal tool for your outdoor lifestyle.  You will be able to move and dump more material with greater ease than you imagined possible. And the Ursa Wagon empowers you to take on projects that you felt were just too big to chew. My 13-year-old daughter moved a total of 7 tons of sand this summer - by hand!  I didn’t dare tell her at the beginning of the job what she’d be doing. She is a teenager.  But when she finished, you should have seem the look of accomplishment when I told her what she’d done.

My husband, our engineers, and myself have worked tirelessly to create the easiest way possible to load, move, and dump heavy or bulky materials by hand.  And then we worked on making an incredibly versatile system so you chose if you want to pull it by hand or tow it behind your ATV, if you want never -flat tires or if you want the extra flotation of wide pneumatic tires, if you want a cargo holder or a flatbed, or if you want sideboards to double the available capacity. Each step of the way, we built in strength, durability, ease of use, ease of maintenance, and versatility.  And don’t just take our word for it.  An independent panel of testers from the National Home Gardening Club tested and endorsed the Ursa Wagon.
